Welcome back iSchool students!

The iSchool is excited to welcome all new and returning students for the fall term. This past week saw more than 180 new students attend orientation events. The incoming class is comprised of students from 15 different countries including Albania, Canada, China, Ecuador, Georgia, India, Iran, Kosovo, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan and the US. The iSchool is also delighted to welcome new faculty member Amelia Acker who will be teaching courses on archives, records management, and digital preservation in the Library and Information Science program.

New and returning students should frequently check the iSchool’s events page for the most up-to-date listing of social events and intellectual or professional development opportunities. Be sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for the latest news and join our LinkedIn group to connect with alumni, faculty and staff. If you have news to share, please let us know!

For your convenience, many academic policies and procedures have been posted online. This is a great time of year to consult your course of study or refresh your memory on how to register for courses. Welcome back to campus and Hail to Pitt!
